Features
Description
The LA Series balances meet the highest technical weighing requirements, as well as meet your demands for a simple operating design and user-friendliness; ideal for complex applications
and for use in quality systems, especially when additional performance features are required.
Special features of LA precision balances:
isoCAL self-calibration and fully automatic adjustment function with user-definable calibration/adjustment times (3 time settings max.) at which the balance will self-calibrate and adjust the span on a daily basis
ISO/GLP-compliant recording/printing capability with memory for up to 50 ISO/GLP-compliant calibration and adjustment records
reproTEST: automatically checks the repeatability at the weighing location using an internal weight
Input capability for user-defined, external calibration/adjustment weights
Simple operation thanks to the new operating design with prompts in plain English for operator guidance
Convenient input capabilty for alphanumeric IDs
4-line, customizable ID header, e.g., for entering the company address
Backlit, graphic display with variable digit size
Built-in application programs: density determination, statistics, calculation, animal weighing and weighing in an extremely unstable environment, over/under checkweighing, counting (with reference sample updating), net-total formulation, weighing in %
Up to 3 application programs can be combined to meet more complex requirements or to run and quickly toggle among 3 unrelated applications
Weighing platform and control unit feature modular design (ideal for below-balance weighing)
Also available in versions verified for use in legal metrology (except for models LA3200D, LA4200 and LA420)
